New task force to roll out Rs 100 lakh crore infrastructure projects

A task force to draw up a national infrastructure pipeline has been set up by Nirmala Sitharaman to implement government's plan of investing Rs 100 lakh crore over the next five years in the infrastructure sector. The terms of reference of the task force would be to include identifying technically feasible, financially and economically viable projects that can be started in 2019-20.
